ALI. K

is a dynamic vocalist with expertise in classical, gospel, ​jazz, and contemporary music. Originally from Trinidad, ​Ali.’s early training in music theory, flute, drums, and steel-​pan laid the foundation for her impressive career in New ​York, where she quickly distinguished herself as a principal ​soprano in both academic and ecclesiastical choirs.

Ali. has performed at prestigious events, including the New York ​All-City High School Chorus, the Christmas at Gracie Mansion ​for the Mayor, and McDonald's Gospelfest. During her studies ​at SUNY Fredonia, she was cast in Magic Flute and led several ​student productions. As a former member of several gospel ​quartets and groups, Ali. performed at significant venues such ​as the EEOC Annual Breakfast and recorded in New York City ​and Richmond, VA.

ali.’s versatility was further showcased through her ​performances at The Nuyorican Poets Café, Uptown Jimmy’s Café, ​the Iguana and many others in NYC. Her professional training ​at Susan Eichhorn Studios in New York solidified her ​reputation as a skilled and accomplished vocalist.

Despite her early success, ali. k had stepped away from music, ​feeling the weight of personal responsibilities. However, driven ​by a deep passion for her craft, she finds the courage to return ​to the stage. This personal journey leads her back to her ​homeland of Trinidad, where she is rediscovering her musical ​and cultural roots. The experience reinvigorates her artistry, ​infusing her performances with new depth and authenticity.
